Community Tasting Notes 10

March 20, 2022 - Medium plus ruby color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 3 hours. This was more red fruited with cherry and currants at first, some typical earth and spice notes. I found this took on noticeable depth and the fruit became more crunchy raspberry with more layers to the earthiness. Very cool and crisp, medium length. This may still get a little better. We'll see.

November 8, 2019 - This was delicious. Textbook OR PN. Tart red fruits (cherry, raspberry, cranberry), dried leaves, forest floor. Good structure provided by some tannin and excellent acidity. Very food friendly. Very enjoyable.

May 6, 2019 - Raspberry and cherry flavors. Nose similar, not a lot of depth. Palate shows a bit of bitter tannin that fades going into the finish. Good Pinot, light, fresh, but a bit simple.

May 26, 2018 - Willamette Valley Weekend Visit; 5/26/2018-5/27/2018: Tasting at the winery. Wonderful aromas show spice, pure red fruit and earth hints. Similar flavors, but less forthcoming and more backward. Rich finish hints at good potential. Needs time.

September 2, 2017 - At Bistro Maree in Seattle. Very nice - more fruit forward than I typically go for in Pinot, but well balanced with interesting spice and tea notes supporting cherry fruit foundation. Went well with a wide range of foods at dinner.
