October 23, 2016 - Very similar (identical) to my previous note. Very distinctive and refreshing wine. Very well made. From Magnum...you can PnP. Would drink now rather than later.

June 4, 2016 - Tasted in Magnum. What a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting much and it delivered a lot. Not very intense in color, but quite fragrant. Very refreshing; great with grilled chicken. First experience with a dry Maury I believe and very please with this producer.

February 5, 2015 - MASTER ESAGONALE FRANCIA; 1/14/2015-7/30/2015 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Degustato alla cieca. Grenache 100%. Rosso carminio scintillante, una via di mezzo tra un rosso e un rosato.
Componente fermentativa lattiginosa ancora in evidenza. Frutta esotica d' oriente, cannella e noce moscata, rabarbaro candito e the rosso.
Poi cestini fragole e fiori a perdita d' occhio.
Naso femminile, accattivante e spudorato, dalla tonalità rosea.
Straordinaria corrispondenza gusto-olfattiva!
Profumatissimo anche in bocca, ti investe. Talmente salino da sembrare aggiunto di bicarbonato. Potenza senza peso, nella sua precisione e presenza, nonostante la lievità.
Il finale è ossuto, asciuttissimo pur avendo poco tannino e la sensazione finale è quella di un borotalco ai fiori
Ovviamente giovanissimo, ma già raffinatissimo e borgognone.
Mi ha ricordato i profumi e la ruvidezza costosa di un Savigny-Les-Beaune.
