December 23, 2023 - Burgundies at Kam Boat: Perfumed, spice-laden nose with a silky, sensual texture that most including myself were in Vosne. Some blood iron notes emerged with air so I thought feminine Gevrey from a great vintage like '10. Superb balance and by far the most complete wine on the night.

June 23, 2015 - This appears to be the most concentrated wine in Marc Roy's range. Rich palate of red currants, some meatiness, spice, smoke and earth. Tightly structured and densely layered with complexity. When I first tasted it, it gives a sense of completeness. Although approachable but will require some age to open up. It was interesting to note that the wine completely shuts down after some time in my glass leaving me with a sense of emptiness.
