Community Tasting Notes 2

August 26, 2017 - 8/26/2017 SPC Class WK1: Pale ruby color. Aroma intensity was weak, but complex showing some age. Mineral notes, along with tart red berries, also detected a hint of acetone. On the palette, dry and lively acidity, moderate but soft tannins. Moderate flavor intensity, mostly unripe strawberry. Might be in a dumb phase?

July 3, 2016 - Red fruit forward, yet showing appealing earthiness and substance. Medium to medium plus acid, gritty mouthfeel, lingering finish. 88-89.
