Flight 1 (3 notes)

White - Sparkling
N.V. Roederer Estate 25th Anniversary Reserve Brut USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley
88 points
Pale yellow in color, moderate aroma intensity - shows some age. Notes of green apple, lime, and light fragrance of buttered bread. Dry, with medium body and lively acidity, medium finish.
White - Sparkling
N.V. Dibon Cava Brut Réserve Spain, Cava
87 points
Thin yellow color, moderate aromas of citrus, apple, and light oak/spice aromas. Off-dry with fresh acidity, and flavors of green apple, grass, and spice. Short finish, but overall balanced with moderate complexity.
A good value for the price.
White - Sparkling
N.V. Jean Josselin Champagne Demi-Sec Carte Noire France, Champagne
89 points
Pale yellow color with green tinge. Moderate aroma intensity showing some age - light lemon curd, apricot, and yeast. Off-dry, medium bodied with lively acidity. Evolves on the finish from flavors of ripe apple to nutty. Medium finish, overall balanced, complex, and an average value for Champagne.

Flight 2 (3 notes)

White
2015 Vincent Dampt Petit Chablis France, Burgundy, Chablis, Petit Chablis
85 points
Thin, yellow color. Weak aroma intensity, youthful and fruity notes of green apple, lemon, grass, and peppercorn. Off-dry and light-bodied with moderate flavor intensity, green apple and lemon, Short finish. Overall, well balanced but lacking in complexity for my taste.
White
2015 Josh Cellars Chardonnay USA, California
75 points
Pale yellow color, shows some age on the nose: notes of oak and vanilla, tropical fruits and red apple. Smells artificially sweet. On the palette, dry, medium-bodied, with lively acidity and moderate intensity of flavors, butter, apple, and vanilla. Long, uninspiring finish on the tart side. Average complexity, and not a great value.
White
2013 Piattelli Vineyards Chardonnay Premium Argentina, Mendoza
77 points
Pale green in color, weak aroma intensity showing some age: vanilla, oak, and pear. On the palette, off-dry and medium bodied with tart acidity and moderate flavor intensity — apple. Long finish, that is too tart. Average complexity, good quality, average value.

Flight 3 (2 notes)

Red
2013 Talbott Pinot Noir Kali Hart USA, California, Central Coast, Monterey
85 points
pale brick color, with moderate aroma intensity showing some age. Earthy aromas like tobacco mix with red fruit, like cherries. Also a coppery/metallic note? On the palette, off-dry and light bodied with lively acidity and weak but astringent tannins. Prominent flavors of strawberries, smoke and cedar. Medium finish.
Red
2013 Coeur de Terre Pinot Noir Willamette Valley USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Pale ruby color. Aroma intensity was weak, but complex showing some age. Mineral notes, along with tart red berries, also detected a hint of acetone. On the palette, dry and lively acidity, moderate but soft tannins. Moderate flavor intensity, mostly unripe strawberry. Might be in a dumb phase?
