May 1, 2023 - Bottle purchased on Winebid was corked.

November 6, 2021 - This was excellent out of magnum. Nicely integrated with polished fruit and plenty of freshness.

June 26, 2020 - A very sophisticated Fleurie that has developed, with age, the sinews of some interesting and exciting notes; a crisp attack that blends nicely the black pepper, spicy red cherry, deep wet soil, and raspberry, unfolding in a well-integrated , tangy whole. It shows its old vines and will age nicely for another 5-10 years.

  • Alex G. Likes this wine:

August 31, 2018 - Elegant and spicy, fruits on the attack and some earth and depth on the finish.

This is comparable in quality to a great Foillard Morgon, though of course with a different terroir. I'd be interested to drink more from this producer, but I wouldn't pay a premium over Foillard for this.

January 7, 2018 - lovely soil and mineral with juicy strawberry and some forest funk. really well balanced and speaks volumes in terms of terroir.
