December 19, 2020 - Beautiful. Needed an hour to open but when it did it was Audrey Hepburn. Just beautiful.

November 16, 2019 - From Paris with Love, 2019 Edition; 11/15/2019-11/17/2019 (Paris (Le Voltaire, La Tour D'Argent & Epicure)): This wine is one that needs to be sourced from a perfect cellar and in this case one of the best in the world the one of La Tour d’Argeant in Paris was the perfect source. Fragile and soft wine, well evolved, well matured, soft red fruit, earthy, forest floor feel. The fruit in the palate is however very much alive and hold its weight well, complex and very much what is expected in a way. A very happy 95 from us and we would however caution not to be served along strong tastes or other stronger wines as this would struggle to show in such an environment.

November 11, 2017 - Alive, good fruit, but disappointing for a 1985 GC. Red and black cherry, a little sandalwood, but modest finish and no real complexity. B-

March 8, 2013 - Howard Camhi returns to NY and we celebrate with Champagne, Burgundy, Barolo, Rhones and a German Riesling. (My place.): Quite a bruiser here. The aromas aren't as complex as the Grivot, with cherry and game and meat dominating, but the Trapet showed much better on the palate. Formidable tannins are still lurking about, there's a beautiful core of cherry fruit here along with game and earth notes. A-.
