March 1, 2024 - Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Wonderfully balanced with enough freshness, wonderful mature notes, and enough structure, all in wonderful harmony.

December 3, 2015 - Level and cork perfect.
Deep dark colour with obvious earthy hues.
Rich, ripe dark fruits with blood, earth and only lightly gamey. Strong distinctly secondary fragrance.
Silky smooth, pure and well balanced flavours. Clean and elegant from start to finish. Smooth very fine tannins, silky long finish.
Rich dark berry fruit perfectly melded with earthy developed flavours, probably about 50/50 at this point. Quite powerful flavours although structure remains silky smooth. Delicious aged Burgundy.
