May 20, 2020 - Golden colour. Aged stone fruit and apricot nose. Clean and fresh with good acid, showing some aged characters. Nice big fruit mouthfeel but not with overpowering oak - creamy but not oily. A mature Hunter chardonnay.

January 12, 2020 - Golden yellow colour. Big chardonnay nose. Lovely round mouthfeel with a delicious firm dry finish. Big and bold but not oily or over oaked. Very enjoyable with chicken schnitzel to celebrate a 95th birthday!

July 5, 2019 - Beginning to take on a more vibrant yellow color. On the nose there is melons, ripe peaches, and butter. Palate is creamy butter with fruit on the back. Recommend having this slightly above room temperature. Thoroughly drinkable now.

October 1, 2016 - Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #3: Mineral, musk, slate and light oak. The acidity on the palate is high, but the fruit has good intensity to stand up to it. Fresh and bright and at the same time having good depth. Possibly just a little unsettled at the moment, but I'd like to see it again in a few years.

May 8, 2016 - Transparent pale lime straw in colour.
French oak, lees works well with the white stone fruit nose.
Light to medium bodied. Medium mild fruit and oak driven palate then followed by citrus washing over meal with lemon/ lime zest acidity freshening. Flint and white stone fruit carry the long finish.
