July 29, 2022 - Burgundy Wimps (La Trompette, Chiswick): Medium/deep garnet. Nose shows ripe, dark fruit, smoke, spice, rich soil. Quite complex. Medium/full bodied, again rich, dark fruit, earth, spice, firmish but fine tannins, vibrant acidity long still grippy finish. Complex Volnay in a rich style, still a pup. Now to at least 2035.
