December 10, 2016 - Pinot best bottle (@Garbe, Stuttgart-Plieningen): Glass: Riedel Sommelier Burgundy
Popped and poured from Magnum from a presumably good cellar.
Dull garnet color. After pouring the nose is really intense and fully developed, but you can watch this wine dying after 15-30 min in the glass.
Taste is really interesting and not too bad: Dry, high acidity and tannins which are still balanced and did not fell apart. Lots of extract sweetness, lots of tertiary aromas, tobacco, lovage, smoke.
Wonderful experience but hard to judge and therefore not rated.
