  March 1, 2020 - A private lunch (Restaurant Rijsel, Amsterdam, NL): Magnum. Disgorged 8 February 2016, base vintage 2013, bottle no. 1193. Ruddy colour; spicy Pinot nose, honeyed red fruit; delightfully silky but minerally palate, ripe red fruit, energetic; pure and long finish. More finesse than (single) bottles with less post-disgorgement ageing.

  April 27, 2019 - This bottle was smoking good. Such a vibrant, dry Pinot Noir based Champagne with tight and focused bubbles. Serious length on the finish. Time to reload on this food friendly Champagne when the price is right.
