February 8, 2017 - Dark crimson; with 30 minutes of air this shows great Southern Rhone character with raspberry, meaty cherry, ripe but not overripe, some brick dust which says Gigondas, fig, sweet savory fruit and herbs; silky tannin on the palate, refined and well rendered, complete and delineated flavors with an approachability that may be overlooked; very nice wine and solid QPR.
