  January 11, 2023 - Not good QPR, but the wine is enjoyable. Rich and round. Reflects the warm vintage. Some lemon almond notes.

  December 14, 2017 - HDH auction tasting at Spiaggia; 12/14/2017-12/16/2017 (Chicago, IL): The nose is butterscotchy and ripe, with a touch of reduction. The palate is oily, fat, and ripe. It has good acidity, but this is so sweet and waxy I'd be more inclined to guess California. Not a fan.

  November 14, 2017 - Good wine with lemon, green fruit aromas and flinty minerality. The oak comes out after some time, showing delicate toast and hazelnuts, even some anise.
  Fresh acidity and medium body; not very long or intense, but it has good balance and an entertaining aromatic profile.
  
  It gets better after some time: opened it in the evening, the morning after was much more defined. If you can afford to wait add one point to the rating.

  October 23, 2017 - A very pleasant nose of almond butter, peaches and flint. It is full and round in the mouth with generous flavours and a nice sappy feel. Depth and length are good and there's nice freshness to the finish.
