May 4, 2024 - Still very greenish bright in color, doesn´t seem to be seven years old. The nose is also impeaccably fresh: green apples, citrus, and a very clear tone of sea, salt and chalk. Very mineral nose, almost a bit too tight. The same can be said for the mouth. High acidity on the way in, on the mid palate the acidity is just searing, combining very fresh citrus/green apple tones with an almost tannic feel that transforms into chalk and seasalt. The finish is very fresh. Almost a bit too much, but overall it is saved by the fine green apple and lime fruit that lingers for a long time on the aftertaste. This wine just seems a bit too monolithic at the moment, but I feel that there is so much more to be revealed with some time. I´ll wait at least five years with the next bottle. The 2017 vintage seems to be one of the last «classic» Chablis-vintages, perhaps with the exception of 2021.

January 5, 2024 - Still amazingly young in color, almost water clear with an intense green glimmer. Tight and young at the nose, giving little more than some lime and green apples, and those typical tones of sea salt and chalk. Medium bodied attack on the palate, lots of citrus and green apples on the mid palate, high acidity and an slightly bitter tone like grapefruit. The aftertaste is high in acidity, but also with a strong note of salt and chalk. The finish is lemon and salt. This wine has just started it's aging process (I wonder when this will start, if ever?). With food - we had grilled scallops - the wine expands to include some more fruity tones. This bodes well for the future. This bottle was much younger and immature than the last. There must be some serious bottle variation here.

September 22, 2023 - This was just ok, given the producer and source. Might be over the hill a bit. 13%

September 15, 2023 - Pale yellow. Fresh citrus, wet stones, smooth long finish. This one is ready but now all gone

August 18, 2023 - This was a wine that lives up to its name, the style and the pedigree of a wonderful Chablis.
