September 4, 2023 - Medium nose intensity with notes of red fruits, cranberry, strawberry. Medium tannin and medium acidity. Tannin is fine. Medium+ finish. Drinking very well now. Just beside Clos des Lambrays and Clos de Tart.

May 13, 2023 - Decanted for 1 he before drinking. Earthy, smooth, dark fruits. A little boring. I’d drink it again but not my favorite.

January 23, 2023 - Tasting 2017 Red Burgundy (Birch Road Cellar - Chicago IL): Red and black cherry with a bit of candied fruit and sweet spice. Very good concentration for its level, ending with brightness and finesse. Very good now, but this can certainly be cellared as well.

October 30, 2022 - This is a delightful village Nuits. It is not extraordinarily deep, it’s not extraordinarily complex, but it is a delicate village Nuits that makes me smile with every sip. Quite nice and drinking very well with just an hour or so of air.

November 3, 2019 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Walk around tasting. Red and black cherry with complex array of roasted meat and savory spice hints that are nicely complex already now, but with real upside.
