July 3, 2022 - An Epic Summer Wine Weekend; 7/1/2022-7/3/2022 (Muskoka, Ontario, Canada): This pours medium straw in the glass, just a hair darker than the wine poured next to it. Not massively expressive. Aromas are of tart green apple, burlap, lemon, and a light airy white flower component. On the palate this is lean and light, with low dosage (feeling like 4 g/l) with high, tart, green apple acid. All in all this wasn't really showing a lot on this day, fairly lean and straightforward. Not rated as it's not really my preferred style (I like a tad more richness and autolysis).

April 16, 2022 - Disgorged October 2018, 2 g/L dosage. This wine is outstanding: rich without being overbearing, stands up well to briny food pairings (e.g., feta and olives). Dry, precise aftertaste that concludes each sip with clarity rather than lingering on. Aromas of toasted almonds and other subtle notes emerge with a bit of air time in a Zalto-style white wine glass. Memorable and delicious.

December 5, 2021 - Pale gold. Brioche, toast, lemon, some green fruit notes, and lots of yeasty aromas. Very long and persistent with great acidity. Balanced, concentrated grower champagne. Terrific.
