September 10, 2023 - Classic Burgundy, very nicely balanced and elegant. Not as profound or complex than others of its pedigree but amazingly smooth and refined. The nose disappoints though and refused to open up during the 4 hours we consumed it,

September 6, 2020 - PnP. Classic Burgundy nose — all wet socks.

Solid wine but fairly one dimensional. Drink up.

December 7, 2019 - Light Sous Bois, damp earth, sweet and sour cherry, orange peel, wood spices, roasted herbs and airy! A very good Charmes, pretty, richly texture, it has got the grand cru depth and also the lightness. Tannin was mostly resolved, with lingering finish and some wood spice aftertaste. True as a Gevrey.

March 15, 2016 - A Bunch of Great Burgs at St. Genevieve (St. Genevieve, Mpls, MN): Dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 90 minutes. Another wine that was beautiful tonight. In fact this flight of wines ('96 Ponsot CdlR, '01 Meo-Camuzet Clos Vougeot, and this) was just plain splendid. The nose has the most perfume tonight, floral, lovely, fine leather, earth, spiced. This has a richer texture and more body than the others, plush, full bodied, black cherry, dark plum, some earth, spices. 92+ to 93pts.

March 15, 2016 - Loved this wine tonight. Showed a little more earthy and more classically styled than my btl. Tart cherry, mushroom and minerality. Drinking very well and a little further along than my 01 Meo Vougeot.
