January 14, 2022 - 2019 Visit to Cromwell (Central Otago, NZ): The 2003 in really good shape, held together by its excellent, still vibrant acidity. With time in the glass, toffee and caramelised flavours developed and began to dominate. Tottering on the edge. Alcohol 14% ABV.

August 20, 2007 - We got this at a bargain price, reflecting the fact that it should probably have been drunk 3 years ago. There was still some apple on the palate, but there was some dullness too, either caused by over ageing and/or too much oak. Probably the former. As an experiment, it was good fun. But we'll have to try a more recent vintage.
