April 19, 2024 - Chandon de Briailles Tasting: Ripe and rich palate, with some balsamic notes. After opening up this is actually quite airy and fresh. Darker fruits with great tension and power. This definitely is holding back a lot and needs time.

November 7, 2022 - Tasting at Chandon de Briailles with Claude de Nicolay (Savigny-lès-Beaune, France): Medium red. Subtle fragrance. Elegant, lighter weight wine with a flowing, supple feel that is remarkable for young Corton. The finish is surprisingly saline and powerful. I love the restraint here and would never have pegged this as a 2018.

March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Dense old school wine with enchanting aromas. Complex red and black fruit on nose and palate with a spice through-line complementing everything without dominating. Lots more here than I can assess in a minute, this is a wine to seek out, 92-93+ point potential, and VERY cellarworthy, hold until at least 2028.

May 12, 2021 - A bit more rustic than Marechaudes, more closed, darker, a serious - at the moment less Pinot charm. This get's better with air, wait for it.

January 13, 2020 - Floral, dark fruit, spices, earthy notes on the nose. Very harmonious already on the palate - firm tannic structure covered by generous fruit, well integrated acidity with a great mineral streak. FIne length. Excellent. 92-93+
