June 8, 2007 - Tasted this at Crush. Interesting. Can't say I would have recognized this as a Rhone. The bottle said "Grand Cru", and I'm not sure if I'm remembering the year right, but I'm pretty sure it was from the 60s. Not sure if CNDP is supposed to age this long, but this still had something to it. Unfortunately, I had just a bit of the bottom of the bottle, put through a strainer to remove sediment. Don't have specific recall enough to put in notes, or prior experience with "Grand Cru" CNDP to compare to but this was mildly enjoyable, and just a treat to try.
