February 5, 2022 - Across the line I’m loving how Rodolphe’s 14’s are showing now. Here, Monsieur Victor, coming from the best barrel of 2014 Chetillons and a “perpetual reserve” from ‘88, ‘90, ‘93 and ‘96 harvests, shows impeccable purity, precision and vibrancy with layered aromatics of yellow fruit, white flowers and candied hazelnuts. The palate has killer intensity, bracing citrus inflicted acids and a persistent mouth coating finish. Excellent, and more giving than 2013 at this point.

DAN BAILEY Does not like this wine:
August 27, 2021 - Pale yellow colour. Nose mute initially and palate quite spirity/torrefied. New pour in a fresh glass still shows as quite torrefied but with a very dry/chalky palate underneath and flat mousse.
