October 29, 2015 - Similar notes to the 2001 but better put together. Less developed nose than expected with rich red clay, black cherry, and white flower perfume. Ripe red cherry on the palate backed up with some spicy cured meats. Meaty, good drinking right now but definitely has a ways to go. Some oak notes present with a bit of vanilla and char.
