June 27, 2022 - A little deception for me. A bad day to taste it?

June 25, 2022 - (98-100 vvPunkte) Dichtes Rubinrot.

May 20, 2022 - Tobacco leaf, cedar, spice box, roses, and red currants are what you initially notice. On the palate, the fruits are clean, pure, fresh, bright, and energetic. There is a softness to the tannins, with a vibrancy in the fruits that carry from the mid-palate, through to the lengthy, bullet of creme de cassis in the finish. For Chateau Latour, this will be able to be enjoyed relatively early in life. The wine was made from a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Merlot, 13.1% ABV. The harvest took place September 28, October 8. The Grand Vin was produced from 39.2% of the harvest. Drink from 2028-2060. 96-98

April 28, 2022 - No notes due to 400 wines tasted at EP. Was great to taste the three 2021s with the three current releases. This wine is exceptionally made, through and through. This would be a buy for me, price dependent- and will be gorgeous on release ~2030.

April 27, 2022 - En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Red berried fruit; raspberries and strawberries, over blue and black berry and wild blackcurrant: very fruit compote. Plentiful oak, graphite. The graphite note translates to the palate joining medium plus intensity acidity, slightly chalky tannins and finishes and a little bitter. Plenty of power here as well as the fruit which very comes to the party as well. Yummy.
