January 20, 2024 - Made a lamb stew, this was a great match.

January 4, 2024 - Having purchased a case of this before the holiday, it diminished rapidly because it became our goto wine for many dinners. Universally well received, it is also almost a universal solvent and paired with almost every dinner dish or plate of cheese. Consumed half a case over Christmas, ordered another case as I also think it will age nicely.

December 8, 2023 - Moderate color, Grenache dominates this reasonably complex wine, the Mataro and Carignane show in the middle. Soft and supple, with good flavors and weight, a real value GSM.

November 29, 2023 - Plum, oak, smoke, vanilla, and some eucalyptus when I really thought about it. Was expecting pepper on the nose but it only appeared when I tasted it. Pretty savory overall but definitely has enough fruit for balance. The tannins here are smooth too. An overall great value for only $20. If this is one of their entry level bottles I’d love to try something higher end.

November 25, 2023 - Juicy, ripe red fruit, cherry & raspberry. Not a big wine and that ripe fruit is balanced with some acidity & minerals. Really Rhône like if just slightly more fruit forward. Quite enjoyable.
I’ve had the Juveniles here & there over the years & mostly liked it. I never realized that there’s only a little Shiraz in the blend. 47% Grenache, 32% Mataro, 10% Carignan, 9% Counoise, 2% Shiraz.
