Community Tasting Notes 3

July 16, 2023 - Method: pop and pour; a bit colder than cellar temp

    Nose: white peach, fresh ginger

Palate: ripe yellow and white peach, Lemonhead, light ginger; medium+ finish of lemon, light minerality, light parsley; medium to medium+ sweetness; medium body; high- acidity

Overall thoughts: Great wine, but it improved over the next few days after opened. Great on pop and pour, but should be better after a decant if enjoying it soon. Should age very well. 92 - 93 points with nice upside. Great wine!

November 13, 2022 - Impressions from "Perspektive Wein" fair (Wagenhallen, Stuttgart): Glass: Universal
*** brief notes for my own memory from tasting sip. No rating ***
Time will tell. Today I liked the Spätlese more. It seemed to be more powerful and complex, but this might be due to the wines I drunk in between... Anyway, a real beauty in the making. 92++

October 10, 2022 - Very impressive wine with a lovely balance due to the great 2021 acidity. Initially, it is sweet but not overly so and it finishes with a huge acidity bringing a lovely balance.
There is a lot of exotic fruit, like pineapple, on the palate but also a slight touch of vanilla. Great wine!
