September 12, 2023 - Ahhh... Nebbiolo's beautiful perfume. Super pronounced perfume but oddly a touch of soap, but it can't be soap because the glass has had three different wines in it. So its just super perfumed. And then structured up on the palate but its just so young. Or rather that is because its so young. Punchy, we shall see where it evolves. Interestingly the winery ins now all old oak, up to 15 years old. This apparently has a short passage in oak - 6 months, French barriques from 4 - 7 year passage. They want a pretty neutral oak experience but want a touch of oxygen to smooth the tannins.
Just opened but on second swirl is really beautiful, raspberry expression on the nose.
