  December 1, 2023 - Savart-a-thon (Cru and Domaine, Portland OR): Oh baby! This nose, just so much going on and also different from the other Savarts in the lineup. There is so much complexity to the tones of ginger, chamomile, pears, apples, yellow flowers, peaches, toasty notes, quince, vanilla beans, and some orange peels. The Medium bodied feel is textured and silky with tart, high acidity that just makes your mouth water. This was raised in oak, so it shows off a very different side from what Savart normally does. I'm really digging this and there is so much complexity already with it showing plenty of ability to age and get better from here.

  October 28, 2023 - La Fête du Champagne Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Walkaround tasting. 100% Chardonnay, 3g dosage. Very exciting apple and lemon with the richness to withstand low dosage. Lots of rich flavors here, very good length.
