October 28, 1990 - With K and Miranda at the winery. Light straw color. Brilliant. Nose is shy, with melony fruit. Really nice flavors--well-integrated fruit and oak. Good stuff--to drink soon. 5-9-16-7: 87

October 20, 1990 - Tasting 12 Chardonnays, 7 Bordeaux, 8 Cabernets including 5 Opus One (Walnut Creek, Ca.): Tasting of 12 Chardonnays. Showed a pleasant, fruity nose, too big on vanilla, rich, oaky fruit in the mouth, long, pleasant finish. My #4. Retail $9.10.

November 27, 1989 - With MPL and BLR at the LWB. Straw color. Fresh tropical fruit aromas. Pineapple. On the palate, nice balance and good mix of tropical fruit. Long finish. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.
