May 12, 2022 - sadly, 10-15 years past peak Tired, flat and pretty much undrinkable.
unfair to rate, was probably excellent in its day. -

December 25, 2014 - In my cellar since release. Lovely translucent medium ruby color with brick edge indicative of its age. Earthy, forest floor notes dominate the nose especially early on after openning. There is also some cherry and a hint of chocolate. Very silky and elegant on the tongue, flavors reflect the nose. Over time the profile gets less earthy and more chocolatey and more cherry. Very fine!

February 26, 2013 - Christopher Prain's Mature Burgundy Dinner @ Ten Bells (Upstairs @ The Ten Bells): A bit confected on the nose. Black fruits dominate. Very pure. Great discovery - another domaine to add to my mature burgundy shopping list.

May 23, 2012 - Volnay Tasting - Another great Pousse wine, compared with the Caillerets this wine had a completely different nose, the wine was much more powerful, have to buy more Pousse wine, just love older red Burgundies
