December 7, 2017 - Mainly Pinot — work folk tasting/social (Home): Served last, this really stands out as a bruiser compared with what came before. dark, thick, ripe and slightly jammy. I think my tolerance for these things has gone down since drinking my other bottle of this eight years ago. Maybe also better in its youth? Anyway, perfectly correct for what it is, but I've had better/more interesting 14%abv pinots from Oregon of late. ***

July 31, 2017 - Cherry, smokey bacon, tomato paste, rich, good intensity, nice sweet/acidity balance. Alcohol sticks out just a touch. Very NZ PN initially but I may have found it harder to determine once it had been opened a while. Complex with some fresh florals and more decaying florals and minerality making guest appearances. Enjoyed a great deal. May be 92 for pleasure on the night.

January 22, 2013 - wonderful pinot robe, pure fruit and spice on the nose and fresh and long palate

January 1, 2013 - Dark soft and ripe blackberry fruit with a slight cinnamon stick-herbal note to it; Very smooth, lower acidity, but nicely proportioned; on the riper, modern side of things but very pleasing. 89-90
