July 24, 2016 - This is delightful tonight after 3-4 hours of double decanting. The abundant, sweet red fruit has a fairly feminine mouthfeel with some sauvage undertones. There's also plenty of earth, spice and sous bois, and while this is drinking very well tonight, there's still enough unresolved structure to make me think that this has a good, long life ahead of it, but sadly, my last bottle.

March 28, 2014 - Very nice. Double decanted for about two hours the consumed over the next three hours. This is drinking pretty well tonight, on the lighter side of med bodied with dark fruit, earth, some Asian spice notes and abit of the sauvage. This is quite a masculine wine with some firm tannins on the longish finish. All in all, well done and perhaps still abit on the youngish side.

March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: very dark profile with good depth and balance of dark spices, loads of red fruits, dark red cherries, bits of smoked game and a lovely touch of red florals. Much more open aromatically then the Les Serpentiers

taste: great lithe feel for such a young burg with excellent and balanced tones of of dark spices, dark red cherries, red florals and some very tart tones of raspberries with medium/high acidity showing its youth

overall: a terrific young burg. More open aromatically on the palate and nose then the Les Serpentiers at this point. Great length and feel that is classy now and should be lovely in a few years when it fully comes around
