March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: loaded nose of red cherries, black spices, crushed red florals, mineral rich earth and lush tones of red currants. Very classy with a lot of depth
taste: great length with grand cru class. Wonderful tones of red cherries, earth tones, bits of spice, and crushed red florals that is acompanied by medium/high acidity
overall: outstanding stuff. Very young, but has that class that you'd expect from a grand cru with the polish and length to go with it. Very young, but very promising
