March 11, 2019 - Great burgundy from an appellation that l don't have the chance to drink often. Great wine, could last longer but my cellar was always colder than the average so my wine show better stature that is recommend by the community. So it's great now!!!

December 6, 2018 - what i look for in an aged Bourgogne is an expressive, very pretty nose and intensity on the palate. This one has both. The nose is dark berries, tinged with locorice and a mouth-coating, silky texture. The color is fading to tawny but the structure is still there, and the balance with good acidity and abundant fruit are outstanding for a village level wine. Glad my cellar has more of these gems. Yum.

March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: very good nose of dark red fruits, red currants, and dark berries. Very pungent with defined tones that meld very well together

taste: an extremely sexy feel along with medium+ acidity bring about well balanced tones of dark red fruits, bits of earth, dark berries, and bits of red currants. The feel and tones are much better then one would expect from a village wine though it doesn't posses the depth that a 1er would

overall: a really sexy wine. Great feel for the pedigree and nice length. Will need a couple more years to round out and fully emerge into what it can be, but is extremely good right now
