May 27, 2014 - Latricières-Chambertin Dinner (Paris Club - Chicago IL): Open 45 minutes before serving. Tasted single blind in Latricieres flight 1978-93. Most of us easily identified this as the old bottle. Mushroom with lingering red fruit, good concentration, very good spice. Most interesting after 5-10 minutes in glass, after which is shortened, but stayed at that level for several hours. Bottle had great fill, very good color.

November 10, 2011 - Faiveley Dinner at Marea 11/10/2011 (Marea): Bricked ruby. Flawed: oxidized, but not awful. Still some character here: lots of leather, some interest. No judgment, but an enjoyable wine that was hard to dislike.

November 8, 2009 - Slightly past its peak with much less fruit than expected. A not unpleasant but more than expected musty/wet wood first note with diminished notes of dark fruits with a interesting finish of vanilla and cork. I wouldn't say it was oxidized yet but the cork showed some signs of bleeding.
