  May 8, 2023 - Dinner at Tortello (Chicago, IL): I think I expected even a little more out of this, so all in all I was disappointed, but this is definitely no slouch of a wine. It took a few hours of air to really get going, and I would readily expect this to still be on the upswing tomorrow. Quite structural and tannic; this doesn't show as much fruit as I would have liked, but the fruit seemed to emerge over the course of the evening.

  November 17, 2022 - 88&90 Produttori Study (Cru and Domaine, Portland OR): This is extremely perfumed and in perfect harmony with deep tones of red cherries, dark red fruits, raspberries, earth tones, spices, violets, truffles, menthol, and crushed rocks. There is a coolness to the tones while showing off a lot of refinement and balance. The Medium/full bodied feel shows off a lot of depth with a lengthy finish that is backed up by tart, high acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The structure has pulled back and where the Pora showed some more balsamic and heavier tertiary traits, the dark red fruits here have some more prominence. This is a gorgeous and mature Produttori Riserva that is just a delight to drink.

  February 15, 2009 - forse un po' alcolico dopo che si pulisce lo straccio bagnata. La bocca é invece carnale e piena di sostanza, il naso poi si pulisce si espande molto bene
