  January 28, 2018 - Tasted blind. color is old, much like the wine tasted next to it. (Pousse d'Or Clos des 60 Ouvrees 2007) Clear dark red color with orange bricking edges. The nose is much more intense than the Pousse d'Or, but in many ways still similar. It has the feminine elegance and Vosne spices from the tomato sauce herbs, but in more powerful form. The nose is much more intense. On the palate, this wine is in a completely different league. Ther are lots of similarities, bur the intense refined and polished power of this wine puts my mind more in the direction of 2005 than 2007, even though the color is very similar in the two wines. When the wine was revealed, I learned two things. The first is that the producer is as always the most important factor in a wine. More so than vintage and even appellation. The second is that 2007 is long from dead, even if some argue it is. Absolutely stunning wine. Still have years in the cellar, and it vastly outperformed the Pousse d'Or 1.cru tasted next to it.

  May 22, 2016 - Like many 07's, this was a nice pop and pour. No rock star, but delightfully open, and full of fresh fruit and Vosne spice. It faded a bit over a couple hours, so suggest pop and pour at this age.

  May 10, 2016 - MASTER BORGOGNA 2016; 5/10/2016-7/10/2016 (LA MADERNASSA RESORT GUARENE): Confermo la nota dello scorso anno. Uno dei migliori 2007 che abbia mai bevuto in assoluto. Fresco, elegantissimo, setoso e talmente ben fatto da non trovare un difetto. Forse questo è l' unico difetto che lo allontana dalla magia, ma resta un village di equilibrio ed proporzioni encomiabili.

  Den klare rødfrukten har begynt å bevege seg litt mot den mørkere siden.
  Jordbær i front og etterhvert titter modningstoner frem med trevirke og krydder. Pinotparfyme med litt urter i bakgrunnen. Litt forstyrrende disse stilkete/urte tonene.
  Etter et par timer i glasset forsvinner det grønne og den flørter på alle sylindere!
  Lysere i frukten og sexiness inntreffer.
  Smooth munnfølelse og denne drikker godt nå.
  Drikk mens frukten fortsatt er i behold,
  men den trenger et par timer på karaffel.
  Fin balanse her.
  God lengde med fine faste tanniner.
  Bra fokus i finishen.

  March 27, 2015 - VOSNE-ROMANEE (AIS TORINO): Da 11 parcelle differenti. 100% legno nuovo. 100% diraspato.
  Subito pulitissimo, laccato e raggiante. Sensazione di freschezza balsamica, quasi vegetale. La maturità fenolica è encomiabile per un village di annata mediocre. Palato di medio corpo, molto aereo e senza peso, elegantissimo e floreale. La parte di fibra acida prevale sul frutto, ma è vivace, squillante e mai cruda. Tannino fitto, persistente ed elastico, di grana finissima. Legno non pervenuto.
