  June 17, 2019 - Kracher and Roumier Dinner with Gerhard Kracher (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Reductive start so I thought there was potential as it opened up, but several of us thought this also slightly corked, even if the vigneron amongst us disagreed.

  November 4, 2015 - 2015 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2015-11/9/2015 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Very fat and ripe nose, mango and a hint of citrus, light caramel and anise. Medium concentration, round yellow fruit driven palate impression, a hint of mineral, slightly lacking acidity and medium finish. It is enjoyable but not quite the level of the domaine whites. Perhaps it is the vintage.

  September 24, 2015 - La Paulée Meets Chicago - Dinner (Blackbird - Chicago IL): Small pour, brief note. Orchard fruit with very good spice. Certainly fresh enough, just not as powerful and dense vs when last tried a few years ago, and that bottle was from the same source.

  June 6, 2013 - Leroy Dinner (Grace - Chicago IL): Slightly restrained fruit aromas to start with good spice. Apple and some stone fruit hints on palate, also slightly backward, clearly showing great long-term potential but needing more time in cellar. In a great flight of 4 vintages of this wine, 1990-2004.
