October 29, 2016 - Wow, you would not guess that this has 22 under its belt or that it is from a bad vintage. Still extremely vivid and bright-fruited with very little signs of age, it seems to have ways to go before reaching maturity. Very much a finesse wine with no extra fat yet most definitely not thin. Slowly opened up in the decanter over two hours before starting to close down. A great match with confit de canard.

October 28, 2016 - Clear light ruby colour with very little brick / brownish rim. You really can't tell the age of this wine by it's colour. Quite earthy and there is also some barn on the nose right after opening, but after awhile in decanter it started to show it's tru colours. Fresh and vibrant nose with parfymic cranberry and some hints of dried red fruits in the background. Very lively and energetic on the palate with really fresh fruit. Really unbelievable that 22 years of age doesn't appear in this wine any other way than in roundness and smoothness. Like Kuumies said it started to close down after ferw hours but there was not much left of the bottle so no harm done. Just utterly amazing wine.

August 22, 2015 - I don't really know what to write! Perhaps some incarnation of red Riesling. Lean, super vital (!!! - Yeah really), precise semi-dark red berry fruit and packed with slightly mean-elevated stealy character. Best and unfourtunately last bottle I had. Really spec considering age and vintage!!!

July 20, 2014 - Pretty much the same like in March. The temperature surroundings were close to suboptimal. Anyway, totally astounding village from a
    miserable vintage.

July 18, 2014 - BYOW tasting (Chris Home): I completely agree with Oh Dae-su´s tasting note, couldn´t add much more to his descripton. A very earthy nose with a lot of mirepoix, later a bit more subtle fruit like strawberries. Palate was very good for a Village wine at this age from this vintage. Still some tannins left. Again very earthy & stony. Drink up soon.
