October 29, 2011 - Decanted for three hours, started with a very soft nose but opened over time, mid palate fruit, with leather earthy finish, ready now

October 23, 2011 - Mpls Does Big Domestic Reds (Fire Lake, Mpls): Very dark red/purple color. this started off a little slow, not sure how much decant this got. Nose has blackberry jam, plum, spice, moderate tannins. This evolved to show some nice forest floor, herbs, and a long finish.

November 6, 2010 - a mellow blend. Somewhat muted nose, but we didn't give it much time to open up. On the palate, a nice mixture of blackberry, plum, wood, and earth. medium finish.

September 20, 2010 - Very nice cab with full fruit tastes. Has very few tannins left, but still nice with steak, blue cheese.
