  March 23, 2012 - Drinking white Burgundies and Italians at Bluegrass (Bluegrass restaurant, Baltimore): Another very mineraity driven wine without much fruits. Saline, seashell and lemon. It is interesting that the fruit seems under-ripe yet finishes with a hint of creme brulee which clips the finish. Nothing remarkable but enjoyable nevertheless.

  February 4, 2012 - Great pure and fresh Chablis. The fact that there's no oak here makes this quite interesting and mineral-driven. Unquestionably text book Chablis! Great acidic structure, but with nice green fruit content. The intensity of the fruit gives a nice lasting finish to it. This will probably improve with a few years more in bottle but it is drinking very nice now. I served this at 8-10oC (Meursault temperature), just to better feel the entire spectrum of fruit and minerality that goes on here. Very nice!

  May 19, 2010 - Chablis tasting with Patrick Piuze: a tad bit more fleshy and rounded than the vaucoupin, shorter finish but also very elegant and light in touch and still with a lot of nerve and minerality.
