August 17, 2023 - PNP. Medium yellow color, served alongside an 09 Raveneau Clos, this was the consensus better wine. Deep lemon and iodine nose, some sweetness from the vintage poked through. The palate is deep with a beautiful saline infused texture that is a touch sweet but revealed some chalky complexity as it warmed and evolved in the glass.

May 25, 2023 - Winetasting dinner Raveneau, Rousseau, Liger Belair, DRC (FB (E.S.)): Medium gold colour. Very high acidity and more intensity than Chapelot 2008 and Montee de Tonnere 2004. On the other hand also a little closed right now and more feminin. Beginning tertiary notes of almond.

April 6, 2023 - Wine gathering at RJ's; 4/4/2023-4/7/2023 (South Carolina): Expressive nose displaying concentrated ripe yet pure yellow citrus fruit with a hint of white, lemon curd, sour apple, beeswax, saline, vanilla, cream, honeysuckle, cedar, cool mountain stream and crushed rocks. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of succulent yellow citrus fruit, rich, dense and opulent, excellent balance and precision, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long concentrated yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of lanoline at the end. A classic rich and generous Raveneau from a ripe and concentrated vintage. Drinking really well.

January 9, 2023 - Decanted for 3 hours, served blind. Pale yellow, very young looking. Sweet fruit, lemon, sea breeze and a bit of apple cider peaking out. Ripe palate, moderate fruit, low acidity, low structure. Some grapefruit elements emerge on the finish. Overshadowed by a couple of PYCM Chassagnes.
