August 10, 2013 - Dark red purple. Eucalyptus nose flows through to the palate, joined by plum, cassis, and mineral notes. Evident tannins are still a bit gritty, or I would have given this a better score.

April 28, 2013 - I would have thought that this wine would be smoother. I decanted for 1.5 hours. Perhaps I drank it too fast after it arrived in shipment. We waited 2 days. We had with NY Strips, (Wagu), my onion recipe and starch. Still lots of Tannins. Fruit is hard to find but present. Not much of a nose. I have had this winfe before and it was much better. Will try another bottle in a few weeks
