Monday, November 22, 2010 - 04 continues to be a favorite Chablis vintage of mine, and this wine did not disappoint. Green/gold in color. Big nose with lots of minerality and seashell. Nice big, dry, but balanced palate of minerals, nuts, chalk and seashells. Hint of lemon, but no other fruit to speak of. A delicious food wine had with smoked grilled sturgeon.Would have liked a little more fruit on the palate but very good nonetheless. No evidence of any pre-mox and several more years left to go.
