Friday, January 25, 2013 - This is a fabulous vintage for this wine with no premox whatsoever (encouraging given the '02 opened earlier in the week which was a mess). There is a stinging quality to the wine in a positive way which gives way to sweet white fruits and chalky minerals. The finish is taut but already complex with delicious notes of clove and other spices. Young but still a joy to drink tonight.
