Friday, April 5, 2013 - 2 years later (almost to the day!) and this has improved immensely. The color appears to have lightened a tad, but the nose has stayed much the same - still dark fruit, a bit of pepper and earthiness. It's much richer on the palate with blackberry, cassis, soy sauce, and leather. The finish has really lengthened, the tannins are still present but smooth, the acidity is still there too. I'm so pleased with this bottle. Really nice.
