Sunday, August 18, 2013 - Smells like Margaret River cabernet. Bush and bayleaf and dust in addition to varietal fruit. Blackcurrant, blackberry and a touch of rasperry. Fine tannin fans out to coat the mouth and is for mine this wines best feature. Moderate finish and some alcohol heat. A bit arms and legs at the moment, perhaps too young to make sense of, or perhaps it will stay that way. After two nights in the fridge the remaining half a bottle had calmed down some, fruit more to the fore, though still not quite balanced.
