Monday, June 1, 2015 - Fragrant, dark fruit, dried black cherry, porty walnut notes, cinnamon and an animal/blood, mineral side that gives balance and interest. The palate is richly fruited with dates and dried sour cherries but with really lovely vibrancy that keeps the fruit fresh rather than over-born. Moderate tannins and lovely juice on the moderately long finish. I like this wine; it is extremely interesting while maintaining finesse and balance.
