Sunday, October 30, 2022 - Translucent ruby, some brick change. Surprisingly open for a 2016 Barolo, even after a minimal decant of 30 min. Beautifully perfumed with an archetypical Nebbiolo profile of roses, tart red cherry, redcurrant, tar and slightl meaty notes. Silky, powerful tannin structure and a long finish.

While very enjoyable now, I can only imagine where it will be in 2-3 years.
