Monday, October 31, 2022 - Concur with Moods note. Drank over two nights. Fruit was understated and citrus acidity was dominant. This lent an edge to the wine that never moderated, so was slightly unbalanced. Generally I prefer a bit of an edgy wine, where it is crisp and clean, but this was sharp. Was indeed better as it warmed, giving hints of quality buried somewhere, but the promise never fulfilled. Surprised given praise in many notes. One more in cellar, maybe it'll be better, or has its time past?
